***First off I'll say I've put in a tech telecommunicate on this already*** But last time I did that someone helped me on a board more then the tech support so I'm throwing it out here
Out of nowhere measure night. I turned on my PS3 and it did not come on there was sound but no conceive of my TV was saying there wasn't a signal.
** One other time it required me to reset the settings to get it to change by reversal to HDMI. It was very easy that time. I simply held the add drink and it reset
** It says it detects a HDMI chord but when I say I want to change by reversal to it. The screen goes blank and never comes back
** I tried hooking up my analog cables and switching that way and it never goes to HDMI. I'll hit X then 30 seconds later the screen comes back.
I really don't think my monster telecommunicate went bad and on the TV its detecting the cable and it has 4 HDMI slots and none of them work on the PS3 now........ any thoughts.
One good tool to have is a HDMI to DVI adapter (really cheap at ). I used it to diagnose a bad HDMI connector on a TV by connecting my HDMI cable to the DVI port on my computer's LCD monitor.
You might want to try that to completely command out a bad cable/PS3... For all I know the light might just indicate that the connector is getting the communicate but the TV could be borking it afterwards.

cater off TV and PS3 the switch on approve not just standby. Unplug HDMI. cater on TV. cater on PS3. Turn power off again. fasten up HDMI again. Then repower TV and PS3. It needs to do what is called a handshake.
cater off TV and PS3 the change by reversal on back not just standby. Unplug HDMI. Power on TV. Power on PS3. Turn power off again. Hook up HDMI again. Then repower TV and PS3. It needs to do what is called a handshake.
So when I power on the TV and the PS3 you don't want me to and video cable plugged then plug the HDMI in and repower both?
I'm just wondering because alter now I have that horrible analog cable hooked up so I can do these manually..

change by reversal no analog cables. Power on both with no cables. Power off. Then hook hdmi up. Then repower TV and PS3. Use the cater switch on approve of PS3.
No need to call support and act 30 minutes for them to express you it's a HDMI handshake issue.
This is an old link and the problem should be fixed by now. Don't see it as your problem since you just recently experienced the problem.

I'm going to go domiciliate at lunch and do exactly what you said. I will report back early this afternoon.
Don't just move off the TV... unplug it from the wall act a few seconds then plug it back in. Hard reboot. I had to do this once to get my HDMI handshake working again.
